A staging-first installation checklist

    Download the release

    Download the current signed package from Toolcaise. Keep the zip intact.

  2. 02

    Back up a staging site

    Create a current database and files backup, then verify that you can restore it.

  3. 03

    Upload and activate

    In WordPress, open Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, select the zip, and activate Toolcaise.

  4. 04

    Open the builder

    Choose a page, launch Toolcaise, and confirm the canvas, navigator, and settings inspector load.

  5. 05

    Preview before publishing

    Make a small change, inspect the responsive preview, and publish only after review.

Before you begin

Confirm the site meets the WordPress and PHP requirements and that you have administrator access.

First test

Create a draft page, add a few widgets, and check desktop, tablet, and mobile previews.
